GCEIC Assistant Principal Leadership Cohort 2026

The GCEIC Assistant Principal Leadership Cohort 2026 is a four-session professional learning cohort designed to strengthen the leadership skills of current assistant principals. Participants will collaborate with colleagues from across the Gulf Coast while engaging in practical, real-world learning focused on instructional leadership, school culture, teacher observation and feedback, effective communication, student discipline, special education law, personnel management, conflict resolution, and legal and ethical leadership. Sessions will include collaborative discussions, case studies, problem-solving activities, and practical tools that participants can immediately apply in their schools.

Each participant will attend all four sessions. Participants will be divided into cohorts, with each cohort alternating between morning sessions (8:00–11:30 a.m.) and afternoon sessions (12:00–3:30 p.m.) across the four session dates. For example, a cohort assigned to the morning session on one date will attend the afternoon session on the following date. Each participant will receive their complete four-session schedule after registration closes.
