GCEIC Leadership Series 2023-24: Student Success - Using Data to Drive Instruction and Successful PLCs

The GCEIC Leadership Series has returned for 2023-24! These workshops will again be facilitated by GCEIC member-district superintendents, assistant superintendents, and leadership teams and will focus on building leadership skills that promote positive student outcomes.  Participants may attend as many of the monthly leadership workshops as desired.  Participation in each two-day workshop will qualify for OSL and SEMI credits.

Using authentic data to drive instruction and professional development is key to achievement and success. This workshop will focus on the definition and examples of authentic data, the ways and means of data collection, and how to utilize data in the planning and pacing of student instruction.  In addition, facilitators will include information on how to create and manage authentic professional learning communities based on the needs of teachers and students.  The workshop will include hands-on activities, discussion, and materials to use when returning to the school site.
