This professional development session offers an in-depth exploration of strategies to support the development of executive functioning skills in four-year-old children.  Particular emphasis will be placed on fostering impulse control and self-regulation--critical components of school readiness and positive classroom behavior.  The session will also include an overview of the CLASS (Classroom Assessment Scoring System) framework, emphasizing the role of high-quality teacher-child interactions in promoting executive functioning and enhancing overall classroom effectiveness.
