The makeup of Mississippi’s population continues to change at a rapid pace.  As a result, public schools have to make urgent and important decisions on how to improve education for a diverse student population.  School leaders are concerned, as they want to ensure that all of Mississippi’s children receive an equitable education.  No single solution or short-term effort can address this challenge.  NISL is pinpointing the issues at hand and are addressing the complex challenges encountered every day in their schools insuring ESSA and MDE requirements are met in working with EL students.

SEMI and OSL credits will be provided pending MDE's approval.
